MORE ABOUT JACOB
Jacob was born in Western Connecticut and moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University, graduating in 2015 with a degree in Music Composition and Technology. During his time in Massachusetts, he composed scores for short films and video games, small ensemble and solo classical works, and collaborated with friends and clients all New England.
Jacob moved to New York in 2017, where he currently lives and works as a production coordinator, composer, and sound designer at Human Worldwide, a commercial music house and post-production facility. In his time there he has worked on hundreds of campaigns with global brands like Adidas, McDonalds, Meta, and Nissan.
Jacob writes and performs music with several bands and artists, including Charity Run, Kite Jennings, Elijah Mann, Ellajay, Trophy Wife, and Jordan Popky. He’s scored numerous commercials and several short films, including Someone Else, an official selection of the 2017 NYC Independent Film Festival.
Jacob has also fostered a love of film production, starting with the home movies he and his neighbors made throughout childhood. Outside of music and film, Jacob loves coffee, cooking, whiskey, photography, travel, sweater weather, dogs, and sometimes cats.
